Legal
surveys demarcate ownership of, or rights in land. These include surveys
and plans for subdivisions, rights-of-way, easements, covenants, road
dedication (Land Title Act), strata condominiums (Strata Property Act), Provincial
Crown Land dispositions (Land Act) and other surveys covered by provincial
legislation and regulation. These activities require a British Columbia
Land Surveyor, commissioned under the Land Surveyors Act.
Our services extend to work requiring marking or ascertaining boundaries for unregistered surveys, including fencing/landscaping and clearing, as well as Building Location Certificates for mortgage and inspection purposes. Kenyon Wilson also provides legal surveys on Canada (Federal) Lands which includes Indian Reserves, National Parks, the territories and offshore. These surveys are covered by the Canada Lands Surveys Act and other federal and territorial legislation and regulations. |
